MBA CSC - Overview
Who are we?
Founded in 1994, the MBA Career
Services Council (CSC) is a professional association for individuals in the
field of MBA career services, and those that recruit MBAs directly from MBA
programs.
MBA CSC Mission
- Provide a forum for the
exchange of ideas and information, and address issues unique to needs of
both institutional and corporate members.
- Provide professional
development and networking opportunities for members.
- Promote collaboration and
cooperation among member organizations.
- Develop and promote
standard and ethical operating procedures, including the reporting of
salary and employment data.
- Introduce members to career
services and employment vendors and resources.
- Foster a working relationship with the media and to
become the voice for MBA employment information.
Membership Benefits
A MBA CSC membership includes
- Access to the wealth of
knowledge and experience accumulated by our members. The opportunity to
exchange information between members is unrestricted and certainly allows
the members to greatly improve their programs through consultation with
peers.
- Read and write ability for
organization’s e-mail list server, allowing easy communication between all
members, regarding standards changes, new products, reference material,
career job openings, industry trends, etc.
- Participation in the MBA
CSC employment statistics reporting, which allows you access to other
school’s database and query functions, once you have agreed to share your
own.
- Access to the member
Knowledgebase document library, which includes all the
"Benchmark" newsletters, survey results, annual conference
presentations, and other reference items.
- Attendance at professional
programs, including the Annual MBA CSC Conference, at a discounted
registration fee. These programs are outstanding opportunities to share
experiences and knowledge with many of the career professionals who are facing
the same issues as you.
- The opportunity contribute
to formulating the policies regarding our evolving industry and
contributing to the future direction of MBA career services.

professional at an AACSB-accredited college or university (or a member of GMAC)
who spends significant time in career service activities for MBA students or an
employer whose role is recruiting MBA candidates from the campuses , we invite
you to join us.

Notes
Regarding Memberships
All memberships
are for the time period of July 1 to June 30. Memberships
do not run 12 months from the day individuals pay. Payments received
after April 1st will be valid until June 30th of the following
year. There are no partial year rates. Memberships are held in an
individual's name but are actually owned by the individual's employer and may
be transferred to others within the organization but are not transferable to
other organizations.

Membership – includes 2 individuals from the same employer $500
Additional Annual
Corporate MBACSC Membership $150
Annual University Membership – includes 1 member $150
Annual
Affiliate Membership – includes 1 member $600
Additional Annual
Affiliate Memberships $150
Affiliate
Memberships are available to an organization that provides products or services
to professionals in the career services or recruiting functions. Affiliate
members are eligible to participate in the annual conference or register at the
conference as a vendor at member rates and access to the member Knowledge
base. Affiliate members are not provided access to the e-mail listserve or the
employment statistics reports, and are not eligible to hold office or chair
committees. .
Membership in MBA
CSC does not entitle any member to use the association’s name to endorse a
product or service in any marketing piece, customer letter, customer e-mail, on
a company website or in any other medium where an endorsement is implied.
